A(NOTHER) EGYPTIAN THEATRE
Los Angeles is host to some of the most imaginative movie theaters we’ve ever seen, and the Vista’s Egyptian architecture and design circa 1923 is no exception. The Vista, a single screen, originally opened the huge space with over 800 seats, but the owners later reduced the number to 400 so that they could offer more legroom than you’ve ever experienced. It’ll cost you less than the Arclight, Century City, or Sundance to catch a movie here and get taken back to another era, and it’s close enough to the Tiki Ti tiki bar and Los Feliz/Silverlake to get all warm and fuzzy before you do.
*It’s got the most legroom of any theatre we know of (and that includes theatERs as well!)
