Presented by Live Talks Los Angeles and Co-Presenting Media Sponsors KPCC and KCET
The one and only Gregg Allman, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, shares his triumphant and tragic life story with Live Talks Los Angeles – his only national stage appearance in conjunction with the publication of his memoir ‘My Cross To Bear.’ Allman’s soulful and distinctive voice is one of the defining sounds in the history of American music. At this year’s 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the Allman Brothers Band was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, and Low Country Blues received a nomination for Best Blues Album. Allman will be in conversation with music journalist Alan Light.
